Electronics and Instrumentation Laboratory

Instrumentation and Electronics

The INSIA’s Electronics and Instrumentation Laboratory develops electronic systems for vehicles to inform and assist the driver; in addition to enhancing vehicle control.

It develops hardware and software for detecting obstacles on the road and for intelligent autonomous driving.

The Laboratory instruments test vehicles using a wide variety of equipment and electronic sensors.

  • Vehicle intelligent systems development.
  • Obstacle detection.
  • Autonomous driving.
  • Development of positioning and driver alert systems.
  • Instrumentation of vehicles for on-track tests.
  • Physical design of prototypes and microcontroller programming.
