{"id":13771,"date":"2017-10-25T14:55:37","date_gmt":"2017-10-25T12:55:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/insia-upm.es\/?p=13771"},"modified":"2017-10-25T14:55:37","modified_gmt":"2017-10-25T12:55:37","slug":"upm-rewards-research-in-their-areas-of-knowledge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/insia-upm.es\/en\/upm-rewards-research-in-their-areas-of-knowledge\/","title":{"rendered":"UPM Rewards Research in their areas of Knowledge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>UPM<\/strong><strong> Research Awards<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Following its supporting actions to the <\/strong><strong>research activity<\/strong><strong>, the Technical University of Madrid calls, for the ten<sup>th<\/sup> consecutive year, the UPM<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Research Awards <\/strong><br \/>\nThe \u00abUPM RESEARCH AWARDS \u00bb are established as an incentive and recognition to research activity carried out within the Technical University of Madrid or external activity that benefits UPM. These awards are annual, and the call establishes four different types of awards:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>UPM Research Award <\/strong>to the UPM professor or researcher in active who has excelled most in his career for his research in any area of knowledge of the University.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Projection UPM Researcher Award <\/strong>to the UPM professor or researcher, under 35 years at the time of publication of the call, who has excelled most in his career for his research labor in any area of knowledge of the University.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>UPM Award Collaborative Research <\/strong>to the company or public or private entity that has excelled most in supporting collaborative R+D+I with the UPM.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>UPM Award for International Cooperation in Research for Development <\/strong>to a non Spanish researcher or entity that have excelled in supporting cooperative R+D+I with the UPM.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Candidates must be proposed for at least three UPM professors in the time and manner set out in the annual call.<br \/>\nThe deadline for nominations has been enlarged till <strong><u>November 6th, 2017<\/u> for the <\/strong><strong>UPM Research Award UPM and the Award for International Cooperation in Research for Development.<\/strong><br \/>\nPrizes will be awarded by an independent jury, composed by six members from outside the UPM.<br \/>\nThe call announcement, are available at the following address:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.upm.es\/Investigacion\/Programa_Propio_UPM\/Convocatorias2017?id=b611eff057acc510VgnVCM10000009c7648a____&amp;fmt=detail\">http:\/\/www.upm.es\/Investigacion\/Programa_Propio_UPM\/Convocatorias2017?id=b611eff057acc510VgnVCM10000009c7648a____&amp;fmt=detail<\/a><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UPM Research Awards \u00a0Following its supporting actions to the research activity, the Technical University of Madrid calls, for the tenth consecutive year, the UPM\u00a0 Research Awards The \u00abUPM RESEARCH AWARDS \u00bb are established as an incentive and recognition to research activity carried out within the Technical University of Madrid or external activity that benefits UPM.
